WHAT IF IT'S TRUE?

Anwar got slap with another sodomy allegation.

Althought I'm not a PKR supporter, I have never belief the allegation of the first sodomy charges.

I heard that the person who said it in the first place now owns a factory in Melaka and drives a Mercedez.

But now comes a second charge. Same allegation. SODOMY.

What if it's true? But why is the allegation now? After the election? Why not before?

I hope the police gets the facts right. Or else, another sodomy case that happen in a building that wasn't even constructed at the date of the incident might repeat itself.

These are just laymen questions need to be answered and rectify.

BUT, the most worrying part is that,

1. IF IT'S TRUE - is Anwar really suitable to be the leader of Malaysia?
2. IF IT'S FALSE - is our goverment so corrupted that our leaders needs to take desperate measure in "killing" Anwar's political Regime?

End of the day, I'm ashamed and embraced by the fact that Malaysian politics have gotten from bad to worse and we have to result in awful claims and sickening allegations.

Reply From Petronas Staff on Accusations of Petronas Monopoly Fuel Price

First of all, thank you very much for highlighting the issue. Being a Petronas staff who has a little knowledge abt the business (only Allah knows everything) I feel guilty if I don't tell you the true scenario on what's currently happening in Malaysia. I just wanted to quote some of the statements made by you

1) Gali & jual minyak gred A, beli minyak gred C
2) Minyak Petronas minyak paling kotor sekali (funny)
3) Negara pengeluar minyak, tp kena mengikut harga minyak dunia
4) Yg hnya untung org2 petronas
5) Bonus 9 Bulan
6) Petronas contribution

My answer:
1) True, due to the market force and business strategy. Do you know what it means by 'minyak gred c" ? .. the sulfur content of the crude is higher. But as long as you can extract the sulfur content, it will be as good as other crudes. The Gred C crude need to undergo a certain treatments which i don't want to confuse yourself further by explain it (as you already confused). Some petrochemical plants do not want this high sulfur contents, but we do because our people is creative (Petronas staff). We treat the crude and extract the sulfur and make money out of it. We have kedah Fertilizer plants who can transform the sulfur become fertilizer (baja). I am sure you did not aware abt this.

2) The most funniest statement. How could you say that?... Don't you have the evidence?.. You can be sued because of so called "seductive"
statement. Don't you know that most of the petrol station regardless of what brand they are (esso, petrojet, BP etc)got the raw gasoline from Petronas Penapisan terengganu or melaka... just to name a few, caltex got their own gasoline from its own refinery in Jurong Singapore, Shell from Port Dickson refinary... This raw gasoline (or if you want to call it petrol)has its own standard specification (international standard) before it can be sold. what make things different from one brand to another brand is the addictive that they added into the gasoline. That's what make the petrol whether it is more powerful or more millage. For your own info my wife (oppss... i opt not to reveal my status..heheheh)is working with Chevron @ Caltex who is dealing with all these downstream businesses esp petrol distribution and delivery, processes and procurement. I am pretty sure that my information is 90% can be trusted.

3) Crude oil is not an controlled items like sugar, chicken, beef, etc.
It is traded worldwide in the spot market or long term future market (contractual over to a certain period). So it is very clear, not us to determine the market price whatsoever but it is the worldwide crude traders did that. Do you get what i meant?.

4) Why did you say like that? Why dengki dgn org Petronas who sacrifice themselves for the nation, for the sake of Malaysian, people like you.
We did our job professionally, we make a lot of money, and guess whom get the profits? Is the malaysia govt who enjoy the money without investing any single sen. Govt got their share in a form of royalty and taxes and that should be return back to the people. Back in 1974, petronas was only given USD10 million to do the business and how much Petronas earns now... Over the last 30 Years Petronas has given back Govt close to USD 200 billion (can't remember the exact figure) in a forms of Royalty and Taxes. Did you know that Petronas is subsidizing the electric tariffs that you consumed everyday. The electric tariff that you paid is only 15%- 25% of the actual price (based on the current gas price). Petronas is buying USD9.00 ++ (current market price) from the Field operator (ExxonMobil, Carigali) and selling at RM6.40/mmBtu to TNB, Malakoff, YTL, Genting (Ind. power supply)and this people are getting 18% return due to its cost of capital of 10%. Who gets the 10% return?.. is the money lender such as maybank, etc.. So i would suggest if you want to boycott, don't boycott Petronas but boycott Money lenders instead. They are the one who eaten up much of the cake.

5) Please don't "dengki" dgn gaji dan bonus org lain.... They deserved it due to his/her hard work. Kalau kita kuat berusaha dan rajin, insyaAllah rezeki tuh murah.... You do your part, we will do our part.
Our country crucially needs Petronas to support them. 45% of the Govt income coming from Petronas money. Can't you think if Petronas collapse, where else the Govt to find the money?

6) Petronas has contributed a lot. Shukur Alhamdulillah.. How long has your abang serve with Petronas?.. I think you might have understand it wrongly or you may have not been given the right information or half cooked information. I would advise you not to spread this kind of statement as the statement is not 100% right. You may end up giving people the wrong informations which it may works against you one day.
Jangan menyebarkan fitnah kalau kita tak tahu sumber yg tepat. belajar dahulu sehingga habis.

Akhir kata, terima kasih for higlighting the issue. at least we all know your concerns. Thanks, wallahu'alam..

"I dont want to spread rumors, but I strongly believe that Petronas Staff is also Malaysians. I repeat - MALAYSIAN'S. There are entitle for their hardship they have overcome.

Jangan dengki dengan periuk nasik orang. Bersyukur dengan rezeki yang Tuhan beri, namun, sama-samalah kita berusaha untuk menampung beban kenaikan harga ini. "

EURO 2008 – So Far So Good…

Much has been said. I for one was quite anxious for the tournament. The tournament has reach the Third and final game for the Grouping Stages.

GROUP A.

Portugal
Czech Republic
Turkey
Switzerland
.

In Group A, the obvious favorites for me should have been Portugal and Czech Republic to go through. But a twist in fate saw Mr. Reliable, Petr Cech made a saving blunder and handed the Turks a deserving victory, handing them the second spot to qualify.

So, Portugal and Turkey have gone through.

GROUP B

Germany
Croatia
Poland
Austria

The Croatians have already confirmed the participations in Round 2. And, they did it in style. To beat the Germans was one outstanding overall performance and we shall wait their performance as underdogs of the tournament Germany in the other hand, will qualify. It will take another miracle, or another huge blunder, if the Germans lose to Austria, even with their home support.

To go through – Croatia and Germany.

GROUP C

Italy
France

Holland
Romania

Initially, group fav’s were Italy and France. Italy was the Crown Champions of World Cup 2006, but they have not shown their superiority. The absence of Defense Leader and team captain, Mr. Cannavaro at the very last minute, clearly played a major impact to their performance. The obvious error by the referee during the Italy and Romania game also didn’t help. France in the other hand has to blame the coach. Clearly the manager have not shown his tactics works, and the only goal that they scored was because the excellent technical ability of one Thiery Henry. Out of the Group of Death, came the most outstanding team of the tournament : Holland @ Netherlands. Their ability to work on the flanks and counter attacks, cemented the authority. To put 3 pass the Italians with ease, and 4 past France was not an easy tasks. Clearly tactics and technical ability of players have synergized and now they can reap their profits. It has now come to the wire. If Holland plays fair and put their best team on the field, it would be hard for Romania to be through. Nevertheless, I think Coach Van Basten will not put the best team on, as they have already qualified as Group Leaders, the first team to do so, handing Romania a glimpse hope of qualifying. But they still have to beat 2nd team Holland. Italy and France shall battle it out on winner takes all game. No Guts, No Glory

Team to Qualify – Holland and … (I’m sitting on the fence on this one)

GROUP D

Spain
Russia
Sweden
Greece

The defending EURO 2004 Champions were disgraceful. Lost 2 games without even scoring a goal have shown them the exit door. They were brilliant in 2004, but tactics have gone wrong and the results showed. Period. Spain, the most well known underachievers in football world have won 2 games. These results meant they are now through to the second round. Hopefully, they can win their last game to qualify as Group Leaders, hence avoiding the much feared Holland. Swede’s tactics to draw with Spain was a cleaver one, but they didn’t manage to do that. Only a win against the Russians will see them through, but the probability of meeting Holland in the 2nd round shall a force to be reckoned with. Russia have won against Greece, but I think that overall, Sweden was better as proven scoring 2 against Grece, and almost a draw against Spain, while Russia was humiliated 4-1 by Spain.

Teams – Spain and Sweden.

I’ll continue on the second round as teams confirm their qualifications.

Again on the Fuel Price Hike

Awful and embarrassing!

That's my comment on the measures taken by Malaysian Government. A price hike of RM0.78 per liter. My gut feeling of what Pak Lah said on TV and measures taken by Him and Co is that he is taking vengeance to the people because we did not support him during the last 12th elections.

I know he said that the burden is to be shared by all, but ain't the government's money is the people's money? Aren't we the ones who pay our taxes yearly?

What's even worst is that Datuk Sharir is saying that there will be no domino effect. Is he living on planet earth or he living in Mars? Can't he see what every Tom, Dick and Harry in Malaysia sees that prices of bus fares, consumable items, anything and everything is related to Oil and Gas - Transport Sector is on the rise? What about the lorries and trucks that is not eligible for subsidized diesel? Lorries used during "Wedding Ceremony - Tent Providers", Lorries used for transfer of personnel effects during occupancy of a new house? Lorries used to transport fishes and vegetables to the market?

Ain't this lorry use diesel? Many Operators of such lorries does not file in requests for Diesel subsidy. These type of lorries, small and medium 1 tonner to 3 tonner lorries does not have the diesel subsidy card.

And by this type of service providers we find that the increase in price in consumable items - rice, suger etc.

Even in Kosmo / Metro , the butcher said " I don't care for the summons!. If the government wants to summon, let them be. I can not operate on these margins!".

Lets just say that as a Malaysian citizen, i am very disappointed by our government. What Dr. M said on his blog is right. (For those who wish to know what he said, kindly go to : http://www.chedet.com

Lets Hope for the best, while we endure the periods of hardship...
